Workshops, Trainings, and Special Events

  • October 2025 – May 2026. 50 Hour Mentorship Program and 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at SOMA Yoga Center. Mentor and contributing faculty for the perinatal module.
  • October 17—November 7, 2025. Postpartum “Baby and Me” Series at JP Centre Yoga. Fridays, 1:30-2:45p. $100 for 4 weeks or $30 per session. In-person and Livestream options.
  • November 1, 2025. Chaturanga Clinic at SOMA Yoga Center. Saturday 1:00-3:00p. $50 per person (25% BIPOC discount)
  • December 31, 2025. New Year’s Eve Flow & Meditation! at JP Centre Yoga. Flow into 2026 with me during this late night class that closes in silent meditation as the clock strikes midnight. A very special event, near to my heart.
  • January 4, 2026. Partners Prenatal Yoga Workshop at JP Centre Yoga. Sunday, 1:30-3:00p. $25 per person.
  • March 14, 2025. Hands-on Assisting Workshop at SOMA Yoga Center. Saturday 1:00-3:00p. Details and Registration TBD.
  • April 17-19, 2026. 20 Hour Perinatal Yoga Teacher Training at JP Centre Yoga.
  • October 2026 – May 2027. 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at SOMA Yoga Center. Contributing faculty for anatomy and perinatal modules. Details and Registration TBD.

JP Centre Yoga

This flow-based (vinyasa) styled class unites movement and form. Designed for new and experienced students alike, classes are intended to be vigorous, yet made accessible with a variety of options within poses. Expect to engage in dynamic movement with integrated deep, long holds. This style of yoga builds core power, stretches, strengthens and cleanses the body, and offers the opportunity for deep healing and release. Our intent in all our classes is to build a non-competitive environment where students are invited to move at their own pace.

Flow

SOMA’s signature Flow is an alignment based, Vinyasa class designed to connect your mind with your body. You can expect expertly crafted classes with smart sequencing and flowing movement guided by your breath. Classes are often inspired by the structure and shapes found in the Ashtanga system, and usually center around an area or action of the body. I like to partner strength and mobility work, explore ways to reset the mind-body connection, and infuse a sense of play into sequences.

Power Flow

Boston Bouldering Project

Power Flow yoga is a faster-paced flow/vinyasa yoga class built around developing strength and endurance. It is a dynamic style that links breath and movement, and helps move the body to clear the mind. In one of these classes, expect plenty of options to level up or tone it down based on how you are feeling that day. Come get your heart rate up, strengthen and stretch your muscles, and connect with your breath! This class is free with a BBP membership and included in the cost of a day pass.

Flow

Boston Bouldering Project

In this creative form of yoga you will fluidly and continuously move from one pose to the next while connecting your breath to your movements. You will leave feeling exhilarated, grounded in your body and revitalized. This class is free with a BBP membership and included in the cost of a day pass.

Vinyasa Flow

Align and Refine

Wednesday, 7:30-8:30p

SOMA Yoga Center

This moderately paced class will emphasize alignment and structural integrity in your postures. Learn to work in harmony with your particular skeleton and body type to create more ease in your practice.  Expect fewer flow sequences and more movements that clarify the form and function of the body in various asana. If you are looking to deepen your practice and focus on alignment, this is the class for you! 

Strength & Stability

Thursday, 4:00-5:15p

JP Centre Yoga

This class features movements for building awareness, stability, and stamina for yoga. Work will include longer holds, repetition of movements, and efforts focused around a particular theme or area of the body. Except to see both classical asana and selections from other movement practices, such as Pilates, mobility training, joint and range conditioning, and generalized fitness. Certain sequences will persist week-to-week and props will be used liberally. This class is intended for all levels and all bodies that have a basic understanding of yoga postures.

Prenatal Yoga

Saturday, 1:00-2:15p

This class is designed to support the body during pregnancy, with a focus on alleviating common pregnancy-related ailments. The combination of seated, kneeling, and standing poses helps strengthen the lower body and lungs, while also promoting space and stability in the pelvis, torso, and spine. Restorative postures provide support, encourage focus on the breath, and bring calmness to the mind, while offering a chance to bond with the baby. Participants at any stage of pregnancy are welcome to join, and are encouraged to share a bit about themselves and their experiences during an opening check-in circle.
